La Bruxelloise De Brusselse | Brussels sports photographer
This past weekend I had the opportunity to photograph La Bruxelloise De Brusselse, a women’s running race here in Brussels. Sunday was the second edition of the race, and despite terrible weather, there was a huge turnout. In addition to being a great way for women to get outside and engage in a little friendly competition, a portion of the money raised will go toward cancer research at the Institut Bordet here in Brussels. This is a super event for women and girls of all ages and abilities, and I would encourage all those in the Brussels area to check it out next year. The course is a loop of 3 kilometers, starting in Place Flagey and heading around the Etangs d’Ixelles to l’abbaye de la Cambre. Runners can do either 3, 6 or 9 kilometers. If running’s not your thing, stop by to enjoy the music and food. It’s all for a good cause! And don’t forget, these photos and others can be purchased over on the RIAAC photo site.
