Postcard: Galapagos Sea Lion

Galapagos Sea Lion

A young Galapagos sea lion waits on the shore of Isla Seymour Norte for its mother to return from fishing. A Sally Lightfoot crab can also be seen on the left. Galapagos sea lions are slightly smaller than California sea lions, and can be seen often throughout the Galapagos and also in coastal Ecuador. They are playful and curious and often they would come right up to investigate what we were doing.
